Stephanie here - I agree with Laura that the 4,000 should be a goal and IF they have to have a way to measure production I think they should be given a 4 month leeway and not 2 months. Someone once told me that corporate looks at your recruiting and wholesale levels when they decide whether to terminate a director or not and when Laura posted that statement from the TOP Director it kind of shocked me. I knew a director who didnt make production for three months and she got to remain a director but she eventually dropped off and now she is a red jacket and she wants to go for Director again but she admitted to me she didnt really work the business when she got the letter because she was too frightened to do anything. One of the Nationals Gloria Mayfield didnt even quit her full time job until she was making 8,000 a month in MK and she is probably one of the most charismatic women in the business and she came from a STRONG sales background she sold computers and has a degree and she feels MK brought her into a world she is extremely happy with. From a business standpoint I can see where the company has to have guidelines but along with those like Laura said they need to crack down on any deceptive practices as strongly as the rules they want you to adhere to. I cannot honestly say what percentage of directors are doing the the things that Laura states that they are doing I would hate to think its 50 percent if it were that high I would think the company would do something about it. One thing I know for a fact when I first joined in the early 90s and you were going through DIQ corporate would do random phone calls to people who were recruited and asked the recruit if they felt badgered or pressured or if the Director charged her card unwillingly. I know that for a FACT and that is one of the reasons I always thought of MK the company as being ethical. I still feel they want you to succeed and will work with you but as always everyone has a different story since I have never been a director I cant comment on those stories. Stephanie

Wendy here: Hi Stephanie, I have to say I really appreciate your views. It's enlightening to see someone who is looking at this whole thing from a 50/50 standpoint but continuing to remain positive! Positive does not necessarily mean you are "all for MK" but it's a certain tone that is apparent in your words and I sense a peace about you. I admire that! I fell behind on reading these posts because I have been booked solid with appointments since I got back from Leadership. There's nothing in this business like selling the products and it certainly all starts there! I wanted to add a comment here for you Stephanie because MK still does perform random checks on DIQ's and the National Court of Recruiting. I know this for a fact. They check into anything fishy and will not only deny a persons status/reward but will warn her against any future occurences. I also want to brag because I posted back a ways that my DIQ missed car...well MK called her and said they noticed how close she got and asked her if she wanted another month!!! My Executive Director and myself never considered calling corporate about the car. We just assumed her missing was a done deal and I had her focused on the Grand Prix! I just had to share that. In response to all the current posts, both back and forth about what's right, what's wrong, etc...I encourage everyone to be prayerful about any decisions they make. You cannot go wrong when you seek God's help. Hugs, Wendy
