I just joined Mary Kay a few months ago, mainly because I just moved to the New York area from Canada to marry my husband who is a New Yorker. I joined because I love the products and besides getting them for 50% off being a consultant I also get to meet some great new wonderful people in the area where I now live. I am having a blast with this business. I can set my own hours and I am meeting some great woman from all around. Mary Kay offers a 90% return policy if I am not wanting to stay with it after the first year. But I think like most woman I have been meeting who have been with Mary Kay for over 20 years that I will also stick with this for a very long time. It is so enjoyable and the company treats us like gold. I have worked hard for many years for OTHER people and now I am working for me!!! Mary Kay has offered me a wonderful chance to see what I can do for myself. It is a great challenge to be able to set my own goals at my own pace. Mary Kay isn't that hard to sell either the products sell by them selves. But you need to put a little effort into it. The other day I was at a restaurant I go to often and the waitress asked me what I do and I told her I started a new business and I asked her if I could give her a facial. Not only did she want one for herself she brought over a ton of other girls and they all bought from me when they tried the products. We had a blast. It was so much fun. It certainly is making a bit of money already and it is also making me new friends and making feel less lonely in the Big old New York.
