I have noticed so many people mention that the Sales Directors win the prizes & earn the cars because their unit does all of the work. As a Sales Director, I can guarantee you that I am the best consultant in my unit! I sell more than anyone in my unit. I read your comment on the Mary Kay page, I sorta agree, I went to the convention in Mobile Alabama, Noone was really friendly or even talked to me , I thought it was a great comp, but my director is great, I do think it is about who can sell the most though and dont get in the way. There are also many people selling Mary Kay on the internet on ebay and classified web sites and I think that is against the company rules.

Anyway, I know how you feel, did you loose your friend? I can see how it can happen. How do you suppose those women sell millions? I havent figured it out yet. If you do let me know.

Answer:

They don't sell millions, the "MILLIONS" is merely the RETAIL VALUE OF WHOLESALE ORDERS PLACED BY THEIR UNIT'S. Meaning.......if you belong to a unit, your director gives prizes for orders placed. Her unit does "unit volume", which is a total of wholesale orders received........when they give awards......they calculate the wholesale value into retail value AND add the retail value of free stuff they send you. For instances, say you ordered $400 wholesale.....the company sends you a free product for your level of order valued at $20 retail.........your RETAIL SALES PRODUCTION IS CONSIDERED TO BE $820. $400 doubled and the $20 added. Does that make sense?

The ones who are MK millionaires have no where sold $millions, but moreso, have earned MILLIONS IN COMMISSIONS AND BONUSES FROM THEIR UNITS over a period of time. The farther to the top you go, the more commissions you get on people below you.
