- 22 Nov 2003 I just joined Mary kay in September and i have come across this site and have been reading all of everyone's opinions and im a little confused. First of all i really havent started yet, My father passed away right after i joined . My concern is why are some of you upset about the inventory and keeping your directors in their cars ? I have invested $600.00 at the end of oct for my inventory and after recieving my products i was thinking i wished i had bought more. I was planning on investing more money and getting alot more inventory so that im prepared when people want to order i have the products. Is there something im not understanding ? Am i going to find it that hard to find customers ? I have been using the products myself and i love them , that is why i decided to sell mary kay so that i could get my products at cost and make some extra money working out of my house becouse i have children. I would appreciate all opinions and thank you's for all of your opinions. Jennifer
