Wow, this is in response to Wendy's.....I've read her posts before and they're great, what an awesome example of doing it the way it's supposed to be done. I applaud you now as well as I stated that I applaud those doing it right in my #67 post.
Wendy is indeed doing it right, so for those of you needing advice, by all means, heed to that............however,
As I wrote, there are some not so happy MK ladies out there and with regard to Wendy telling me of the many mistakes I made......they were not mistakes......while Wendy may not be experiencing these things, it DOES NOT mean they DO NOT HAPPEN......I could go into big time detail about some goings on, but I choose not to to protect those involved. There are enough testimonials on this opinion site that tell the TRUTH, and as a born again Christian, I think that Wendy should be grateful that the TRUTH is told, both good and bad in an effort to advise, inform and/or comfort those not receiving the blessings she has........be minded that the company has nothing to do with this, I am talking about people.
Regarding the car......I clearly stated the material was published, but not the insurance info ... Regarding the ADVANCE brochure........As a consultant, I never found this item on my Section II order form, yet it was on a Director's. As a director, I ordered it and gave it to those consultants who were moving up, but, as a consultant, when I asked how to get this brochure, there was no response. It pubishes most qualification facts, but takes lightly consequences of failing.........for example........
Directorship........Wendy stated the company worked with her even after failing 2 months IN A ROW, that's great and I do not discount the company and it's willingness to work for you.......but my LETTER FROM THE COMPANY STATED IN BOLD PRINT THAT MY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN PRODUCTION FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE MONTHS IN A ROW WAS A VIOLATION OF MY DIRECTORS AGREEMENT AND THAT MY GRANTED 'GRACE MONTH' WAS A ONE TIME ONLY DEAL. Again, according to the company, upon my inquiry, the information regarding loss of directorship after 2 months IN A ROW failure is no where published, their quote "meeting the 4,000 is UNDERSTOOD".
In many circles, Doing It Quick is becoming the name of the game, National Offsprings, etc., are becoming more the norm these days, when before it was rare............When I debuted as a Director July 1, finishing June 30 (the magic day in MK), there were thousands of new directors debuting and unfortunately, not all became directors with the integrity of Wendy or other directors like her and my point is THIS IS A FACT in this business...........
As with any endeavor.......what God may have started often times gets tainted by man's greed, or woman's because Satan is in our churches, our homes, our minds and Mary Kay too! Sorry, but you have to be aware that sin is everywhere and in MK it is no exception.
My dilemma was, for myself, not doing this with the integrity some do (and I am not alone, believe me).........that I could not stand up and deceive my unit and receive their awe at my accomplishments when they were attained by means of deception. Sorry to pop the MK pink bubble here, but Satan wormed his way into this company and my opinions as well as others are addressing these truths, truths which we were not allowed to question, feel or communicate while in the pink bubble.
One time I said in a small directors luncheon, that my team failed to meet production 2 months already and I got a grace month........I was shut up so fast my head spun. I was told to NEVER mention that again and to NOT TALK about it EVER in front on anyone.....well, at the time, I was worried, sick and needed someone to talk to, but it wasn't allowed. I was being doubtful, unfaithful and negative.
I even got to the point of questioning my own FAITH IN GOD related to my unsuccess in Mary Kay........how stupid is THAT?????????
Women do NOT WANT to be gone all the time doing shows, interviews, etc., and to those who simply DO NOT WANT TO, I SAY THAT'S OK LADIES.........YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE, YOU KNOW HOW TO WORK YOUR BUSINESS, BUT YOU CHOOSE NOT TO BECAUSE YOU FOUND THAT YOU CAN SUSTAIN YOUR HAPPINESS WITH OR WITHOUT MARY KAY.........THAT'S HEALTHY!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPE RAY FOR YOU LADIES!!!!!!!!
Wendy is an awesome director, everyone give her a round of applause!!!!!!!!!!! And to those ladies who did not make it and refuse to take the 'didn't work your business' guilt trip, but accept that 'there's no place like home' or simply found out it wasn't their cup of tea and left or chose personal use........I GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO YOU LADIES TOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
There's good and bad in everything and we all have choices and we all experience different things and we should be FREE to express what we feel regardless of what it might be.
God definitely wants us to have life to the full, and if you are in MK and not pressuring anyone to do anything and not falling into selfish ambition, deception and the like, then have life to the full, but understand that women have been truly hurt and we are out to comfort one another, as I said, I am not out to bash MK, but perhaps reveal an ugly side that truly exists, and I am afraid, more and more as we see 'the momentum' and 'the wave' getting larger and larger that the 'wake of those left behind' is growing equally as well....
My goal on this opinion site is to reveal truth so that those who see the darker side and feel worthless at their unsuccess can somewhat be comforted in having some validation and the hope that life DOES EXIST beyond Mary Kay. If any of you have a question about anything I have said or feel I have deceived you with any of my facts, please email me and I will correct anything I have misrepresented.
I have no doubt God's hand is in those who are doing it right and are having fun, it IS fun and that's the part I loved, but unfortunately, Satan got right in there in my case and God will make good out of bad and he hasn't failed in my case either. There are women out there who long to hear the truth because they felt the same way or got caught up in the hype and feel shame as I did for what they saw themselves become and what they pursued and what they sacrificed to attain it in the forms of neglect and financial loss. It happens, good always goes with bad, that's a fact.
We all live in a country where our government has taken advantage of us, our leaders have deceived us, it's everywhere, no different in this great country of ours, no different in MK or any other company which may be upright......just a sad fact.........my hope and prayer is that those who are out there cheating or deceiving stop it regardless of what you have to give up....pride, selfish ambition, idolatry, whatever, especially under the guise of "God First".........in the end, HE is our judge, all of ours....we don't take anything with us except our soul and whatever treasures you have on earth are what is in your heart.....my warning via this opinion site is to FLEE from the devil if you are involved in any of this or REPENT of evil desires if you call yourself a Christian, because ......... I think it's near a crime when people get up in front of others, those who have broken the rules and give the image that they 'worked for it' or earned it and if you don't make it, then you didn't try hard enough.
I cannot tell you how much I hate the thought of that.....a cheat saying you didn't work hard enough???????!!!!!!! Whoa.
