I am a former Director in Mary Kay. Are you aware that the company will let you return product after the initial year that you are in the company? I found this out and I called the Customer repurchase dept. and found out that you can return product up to the amount of product that you purchased in the last year no matter how many years you have been in. Such as, I've been in 3 years. Lets say that I ordered $5,000 wholesale worth of product in the last year. I call the company and they tell me that I have $10,000 retail credit that I can return (which is actually the $5,000 that I ordered wholesale). They will send me a Repurchase form (that is extremely outdated) with the total amount I can return, $10,000 retail. I fill out the list, box it up and return it to the company. They will cut me a check for 90% of what I paid for it plus retail tax on that product. They do say that they will deduct the cost of any prizes or bonuses that you have earned over the course of your career. I don't really know what that involves, but I will find out when I get my check for sure.

Do you understand? Pass this along to anyone with product sitting in their closet that wants to get out. The only catch is that it has to be within a year of your last order to get anything back. Let me know if you have any questions.

Also, if anyone sells back to the company, the director above her that earned profit on her order will have to pay back that profit to the company. I have had 2 consultants return product and have had to pay a few hundred dollars back so sometimes you shoot yourself in the foot. But, if they were under the person above you, she will bear most of the charge. I guess if you had earned 4% on her, you might have a charge also. I don't know all the specifics, I'm just thankful there is a way out under the burden of all that product.
