I sat thru a hard hitting sales presentation in Portland, Oregon just to get a free trip to Reno. I made it very clear in the very beginning that I was not interested in purchasing anything-I was there for nothing else but my free trip to Reno.

Well, talk about making you feel like a piece of CRAP- but no worries- I just wanted my free trip to Reno. I finally got the reservation request form in the mail about a week after I left the sales presentation.

When they got my 3 date request for the free vacation, the travel agency (obviously connected with Monarch) tried on 3 difference occasions to sell me into a "premium package" vacation that would guarantee me and early non stop flight to Reno, and a late return non stop flight back to Portland. And, I would stay in the lovely Atlantis Casino Resort (5 star hotel of course).

So, 3 times I said no no no no no- just want my freebie.

So, I have finally gotten my final travel arangements made- I have (for free) 2 non stop flights, and I am staying at the Atlantis lodge, which is on the same property as the Atlantis Casino Resort.

SO, MY ADVICE TO ANYONE- GO, SIT THRU THE 3 HOUR PRESENTATION, SAY NO, GET THE FREE TRIP AND DON'T UPGRADE!!!!!
