It sure is neat that the Rainforest Protection Agency (no longer on its domain at http://rainforestprotectionagency.com as of 2/21/2002) contracted with Renscape to produce their neat website with all those rainforesty noises.

You might expect that the Rainforest Protection Agency is just like the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, another part of our Federal government.

Well, not exactly.

The address listed for the Rainforest Protection Agency is 966 Joann Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92627, and their phone number is 949-631-2921. Based on Google's reverse phone number search, this would be the home of Vince Matlock. It's possible that Vince is really trying to save the rainforests, but we doubt that he's heading any government agency.
